Overview
Olsson Industrial Electric, OS Engineering and Olsson Controls worked together to upgrade a digital governor at Ice Harbor Lock and Dam. The Olsson team replaced the existing governors and controls with digital governors in main units 1-3, including the installation of new supporting conduit and cabling. Olsson also completed the repair of gate and blade distributing valves, providing functioning gate distributing valve plungers, pilot pistons, stems and bushings.
Scope
- Removed outdated governor controls
- Installed upgraded governor controls and associated accessories
- Provided a governor maintenance tool
- Deconstructed, cleaned, inspected and re-constructed distributing valves
- Furnished new distributing valve plungers, bushings, stems and pilot pistons
- Repaired gate and blade distributing valves
