Project Description
Overview
Olsson Industrial Electric, OS Engineering and Olsson Controls collaborated on an electrical upgrade of integral electrical components for Detroit and Big Cliff Dam powerhouses. The Detroit Dam had experienced a decrease in output potential due to a fire that had damaged its switchgear. Replacing vintage 13.8kV gallery switchgear in the powerhouses of both dams, the Olsson team assisted Detroit Dam in returning to its full potential and ultimately fulfilled essential reliability upgrades for both dams.
